Today we got up and drove from Billings, MT about 2 hours to Bozeman, MT, where we set up camp at Bear Canyon Campground. Then we headed downtown to Bozeman to meet up with friends out here for lunch and do some shopping. Had an enjoyable lunch at Famous Dave's BBQ, then headed over to Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply or "Hooter's Hardware" as the locals refer to it. Then it was a short drive to Main Street and some more shopping. The center of town felt like someplace back east, you wouldn't have even thought you were in the middle of Montana. After stopping for groceries we headed back to the campground for some swimming, laundry, and relaxation. The scenery here is beautiful; mountains and wide open country.
